Dear Mr. Cornell, (Ceo of Target)
I am currently a 6th grader at Jefferson Middle School. I am writing to you today for a specific reason. I have made a 3D version invention as part of a program called “invention convention” provided at my school. As an assignment I had to invent a product and it’s called the “Handi-lid.” It will change the way people’s stress about messy cooking, either for beginner cooks, or anyone. Also followed by a business letter to the CEO of a company.
My invention, Handi-Lid, is the right problem solver for people that struggles with messy cooking. This invention could be use as a regular lid, but more better. To use this product you you just have to put the lid on top of the pan or pot. Simple as that. Then, you could mix and add seasoning, while oil and other yummy items that you do not want to end up on the ground. This is the best part of all, you won’t have to worry about making food end up on the floor. My invention is meant to save energy, time, and cleaning supplies. Get this, I am planning to only sell it for $19.44. It is made up of glass and metal and combined it with paper in the middle so, it wouldn’t get spilled. As my profit I will have to minus the cost by the total price that it take me to by the materials I need. Which is $11.94. So $19.44 - $11.94 =7.50. Which is a reasonable price for a product that will change the way people’s stress during cooking.
I can understand that you, Mr. Cornell, you might disagree with this product due to the reason that some people can just have stress while cooking. But this lid won’t make food end on the ground. With the Handi-Lid you can have your food stay where you want it to be. Or even when you don’t want to waste time and energy cleaning up your mess. While you are cooking, just put the lid on, and you be ready to go. You could add your stuff, without anything spilling. Easy as that. And with the Handi-Lid people would rather buy this product then just having more mess to clean while cooking.
The Handi -Lid will sure make those people who just wish that there is an invention out there to help them solve their messy problem. If you are interested in selling this product at your store or if you want to know more about this product, just contact me. Thank for you time and have a nice day.
Sincerely,
Joey Wong
